Hi! We're Matt and Denise. We started Frannie's in 2012 as a way to take our combined passions of hospitality, real estate, and business development to build a food destination with décor and menu to cover a wide range of interest and appetites. We wanted to develop our dream business in a smaller town with incredible surroundings to raise our daughter.
We are beyond proud to be able to serve the Prescott, Arizona community. Our central location, food items created with soul, and decor with personality has been a hit with Prescott locals and visitors alike.
Everyone’s story begins with inspiration point, and for us, it was Matt's loving and charistmatic mother. Frances "Frannie" She was born in Chicago on June 30, 1933, and in 1953, she married her soul-mate, Alan. They raised their five children in the Chicago suberbs where Frannie worked the food counter at Woolworths Supermarket.
Fran’s laugh would light up a room. She wanted everyone to be happy and to always enjoy life. Her spirit of hospitality is what inspires the Frannie’s atmosphere.
Fran passed away in June 1996, and it was in her memory that Frannie’s came to life.
We are so proud to call Prescott, Arizona home! Downtown is historic and spirited and there are a lot of great community events. Year-round, there is always something happening downtown, and we are at the heart of it all.
We love giving back to our community, and you'll see us at various fundraisers throughout the year, like AZ Burn Foundation's Camp Courage, veteran car shows, teacher's appreciation and classroom events, local mountain bike races, Military Veteran's events, and more.
Denise and Matt also coach the AZ Interscholastic Cycling League's Prescott Composite Ravens Mountain Bike Team. Go Ravens!
